Sen. Nesbitt names his staff

Newly-elected State Sen. Aric Nesbitt has settled in to his Lansing office, located in Room 6100 of the Connie B. Binsfeld Office Building at 201 Townsend St. (across from the Capitol). He and his staff can be contacted at (517) 373-0793, and by e-mail at SenANesbitt@senate.michigan.gov. The mailing address is Sen. Aric Nesbitt, P.O. Box 30036, Lansing, MI 48909.
   The office is staffed by:
   • Chief of Staff Joe Wicks, who is originally from Allegan County and is a graduate of Holland Christian High School and Hillsdale College. His responsibilities, according to Nesbitt’s press release, will encompass all aspects of managing a Senate office. The position places a special focus on serving constituents, organizing and managing staff and promoting the senator’s legislative priorities and committee activities. Wicks will act as point person for all media inquiries.
   • Legislative Director Ryan Studley, who is from Eaton County, received his bachelor’s degree in political science and is now completing his master’s in public administration from Western Michigan University. He will assist Wicks in managing Nesbitt’s legislative agenda and assist with the committees on which the senator serves.
   • Constituent Relations and District Director Josh Przygocki, of Paw Paw, is a graduate of Hillsdale College. He will work directly with constituents to solve problems within state government and serve as Nesbitt’s district director.
   • Scheduler Greta Dreyer is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University, where she double majored in political science and public relations. She is responsible for coordinating Nesbitt’s schedule and will act as a general office manager for the office’s day-to-day business. To meet with the senator, or inform him of a local event  to add to his schedule, contact Dreyer.
“I’m proud of the team we’ve put together to work very hard for the district,” Nesbitt said. “We are ready to assist you, listen to your thoughts and ideas on issues facing the state and work to continue Michigan’s comeback.”
