A LITTLE BIT OF NORMAL

Having pushed off from Maple Isle, a pair of kayakers head out for a Sunday morning paddle on Maple Lake.On the south shore of the lake, a couple fishes from the boardwalkA bicyclist stops for an afternoon rest and a snack on the hillside at Amphitheatre Park.Downtown, where the flowering pear trees inched toward full bloom, flowers are delivered to The Garden Griddle. Owner Sarah Cox promptly planted them in the window boxes in front of her restaurant, and spring had officially sprung.

Anxious to resume the activities of the season, area residents took advantage of summer-like weather last weekend around Paw Paw.
