Myrna L. Welch

    Myrna Lucille Welch, 82, of Kalamazoo, died peacefully,  March 14, 2019, at her home. Myrna was born Jan. 26, 1937, the daughter of Milton and Martha (Boothe) Keim.
    She was a passionate and devoted supporter of law enforcement, enjoyed gardening, but especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and grand kitty, Goobers. For the past 40 years, she found joy in antiquing and visiting flea markets.
    Myrna was preceded in death by her husband, Rollin “Ed”;  her brother, Ron Keim; and her sister, Beulah Warner.
    Surviving are her children, Randy Cory, Kathy Cory, Sharon (William) Herrington, Kimberly “Buffy” Welch; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one brother, Bill Kemp; sister-in-law, Nancy (Chris) Wilkerson; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews; and her special friend, Rita Ann Morrison and her three children, Hope, Susan, and Bobby.
    The family visited with friends Thursday, March 21, at Betzler Life Story Funeral Home, 6080 Stadium Drive,  Kalamazoo, (269) 375-2900, where services will be held today (Friday), March 22 at 11 a.m. Burial will take place at Alamo Center Cemetery, with a luncheon to follow.
