Gobles tops Martin and Constantine

   Gobles played Martin Friday night, and ran away with the first game, 12-2. Each team had five hits, but the Tigers capitalized on nine Martin errors. Gobles Caleb Brady earned the win, pitching six innings, allowing five hits and striking out five Clippers. 
   In the second game, Jake Getman was brilliant on the mound; he threw a no hitter to lead Gobles to the 12-2 win. In the third inning, Gobles pulled away for good with three runs. Getman tripled, scoring one run, and Brady Burnell had an RBI to help the Tigers. 
   In the fifth inning, Gobles’ offense was led by Brady, Hunter Tenbusschen, Gabe Miller and Trevor King all knocking in runs. Getman allowed zero hits and two runs over five innings, striking out nine and walking none.
   Gobles played Constantine in a Monday night doubleheader. The Tigers trailed the Falcons, 3-1 in the third inning before scoring nine runs.
   King got things going for Gobles by hitting a double and scoring a run. Getman homered, scoring two more runs; Tenbusschen singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs; Miller doubled and scored two runs. An error scored another run for the Tigers, and Burnell drew a walk to add one more run.  
   Gobles kept the offense rolling with four more runs to win the game, 14-3. 
   Getman was the winning pitcher, going five innings, allowing four hits.  Alex Tyrell  and Josh Lopez each added a single to the Tigers’ hit parade.
   In the second game of the night, Gobles Caleb Brady pitched a dandy in the 6-5 Tiger win. Brady had four strike outs and allowed six hits to get the win. Despite the Tigers’ five errors in the game, and each team having six hits apiece, Gobles picked up the win.
   Getman had two hits with a double for the winners.  Miller, King, Burnell, and Lopez each added a hit.
