The Gobles golf team hosted a home match at Cheshire Hills Golf Course on Tuesday afternoon. The Tigers won the match, scoring 202 points. Coloma finished in second place (224) and Saugatuck followed in third (245).
“Extremely happy with our performance tonight,” said Gobles Coach Ty Rock.  “Each time we have a jamboree, our goal as a team is to get 200 or under. We came really close to that goal, and it feels even better doing it on our own home course. The course played tough, with cold temps and winds, but we battled through the conditions and posted a solid score.
“This team is a lot of fun to coach,” Rock added.  “They work hard and have a good sense of unity as a team.  The goal is to get better each day and they work hard each day to improve.”
Gobles’ Jack Adams shot a 49; Ethan Carlson, 50;  Darin Blouin, 51; Kylee Mandigo, 52; Ryan Smalley, 57; and Grace Moyer, 61.
