Redskins close regular season with a sweep

PAW PAW -  In the last dual tennis meet of the season, Paw Paw’s netters took an easy 8-0 win over a combined New Buffalo-Bridgman team Monday, winning each flight in straight sets.
   Singles winners included: Cameron Walker 6-0, 6-1; Ben Hulst 6-0, 6-0; Christian Johnson 6-0, 6-1; and  Michael Hartman 6-1, 6-0.  Victorious doubles tandems were: Tommy Simon/Jim McCaw 6-0, 6-3; Josh Van Roekel 6-0, 6-1; Reese Golisek-Wisser/Calvin Johnson 6-0, 6-1; and Ryen Fusko/Andy Malcolm 6-1, 6-0.
The Redskins now look forward to another post-season success much like the last several seasons, with the Regional and possibly the State Finals approaching.

ALLEGAN - For a long time in the Wolverine Conference, travelling to Allegan to play boys tennis has not been a lot of fun for the visiting team. The Tigers have been a long-time area and state power in the sport. This was borne out again last Wednesday when a good Paw Paw team fell to the Tigers, 8-0, in all straight sets.
